MMHC Club Show Invitational Classes Information
The
Minnesota Miniature Horse Club Show, in association with Kettle River
Invitational founder Trace Anderson and sponsors, will host the
Invitational Payout Classes the evening of July 3 as part of its club
show in Winona, MN.
There will be halter and driving classes. The driving classes will be
judged on style. If you are driving a country pleasure horse, you will
be judged on country pleasure and if you are driving a pleasure horse
or western country pleasure horse, you will be judged accordingly. The
classes will abide and conform to the rules and regulations of AMHR and
ASPC.
All the classes will be OTS (Owned, Trained, Shown) classes. In other
words, the minis and Shetlands shown must be owned by you, trained by
you, and shown by you. Proof of ownership require that the registry
papers be in your name or your business’s name. The mini or pony must
have been trained by you. And the horse or pony must be shown by you or
a family member.
The class entry fee is $12 per horse, and will be added to the payback
pot (minus $2 for office fees). Payouts will be for first to sixth
place finishes.
All Invitational classes will be open to stallions, geldings and mares of all ages.
AMHR classes will be combined AMHR A and AMHR B.
ASPC classes this year will be combined Foundation, Classic, Modern
Pleasure, Modern, and will be 46 inches and under, with stallions,
geldings and mares of all ages eligible.
ASPR classes also will be combined with stallions, geldings and mares
of all ages allowed to compete. Driving classes will be combined and
judged according to style of driving of exhibitor.
If a horse is double registered, the owner must decide which
Invitational Class the horse will participate in. For example, if a
pony is registered both AMHR and ASPC, you must decide what division it
will show in; it cannot show in both.
Invitational classes will take safety into consideration first and
foremost; stallions will be placed away from mares and geldings with
adequate space. No 17 and under youth will be allowed to handle
stallions.
All Participants will abide by this disclaimer: This show is being run
according to the official rules of the American Shetland Pony Club
(ASPC), the American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR), the American Show
Pony Registry (ASPR) and The National Show Pony Registry (NSPR).
Neither the Minnesota Miniature Horse Club, the ASPC, the AMHR, the
ASPR, the NSPR, the MMHC club show, the Winona Show Arena nor anyone
working with the show will be held responsible for any accidents that
may occur to persons, animals, or property. The exhibitors shall hold
aforementioned persons harmless and indemnify them against any legal
proceedings arising from such accidents.
AMHR classes will be judged by three judges. The average score of those
judges will determine the placing of the Invitational classes.
